From Kitchen Table to Team Suite: Northloop's Year

A year ago Northloop was two founders sharing a kitchen table and one very patient dog. Today they are six people in a team suite at Midtown, shipping logistics software to forty paying customers. This is the story of the twelve months in between.

Month one, they bought two dedicated desks "just for focus days." Month three, hire number three needed a chair, so they took a four-person office. Month eight, with a seed round closed, they moved into a team suite, put their logo on the door, and started hosting customer demos in the big boardroom downstairs.

Grow without moving

"We never signed a lease, never bought a router, never argued about the cleaning rota," their CEO told us. "Every time we grew, Jonas just walked us down the hall to a bigger room." That is the whole pitch for flexible space: the building absorbs the chaos so the company does not have to.
